Crepe Foam Alphabet Puzzles
This product is not for sale. This item is only available as part of a curriculum kit.
As children manipulate these three-dimensional, bright crepe foam-rubber letters, they increase visual and tactile perception, shape discrimination, and hand-eye coordination.
For the youngest, think of these as fabulous perception puzzles (just consider how similar uppercase E & F, O & Q, R & P, and M & N are). By two years old, most toddlers are able to pick out each letter. Older children can match lower case and capitals, put together words, and use the puzzles for phonics games.
You will not find a better "touch, feel, and fit" alphabet, or a more durable one, for those children who delight in pounding the pieces in. And they all do, don't they? For homeschooling, this puzzle is essential. 2" tall letters! Includes a sturdy storage tray.
Great fun while memorizing, pieces are easily fixed with hot glue or super glue too!
Thanks for your review! You can also contact the manufacturer regarding your broken pieces; they are sometimes able to send out replacement parts!

I wasn't sure how much my preschooler would learn from these puzzles, but he loves them and it creates great dialog of identifying the names and sounds of letters and really studying the shapes. It gives a great kinesthetic aspect to the learning. My older kindergartener is also enjoying them and uses the letters to spell her name and other short words. Plus it's simple and can be together or independent work while I work with other children.
Love these squishy puzzles. They are durable, yet have an interesting texture that kept my son engaged. I also noticed it took quite a bit of finesse to get the pieces back into their spot on the board, which is great for building strength in his hands and fine motor skills. I also liked that you can remove the pictures from the back of the puzzle. For us it was too distracting, and I was happy to have the option to simplify. Bonus that this is water proof and can be used in a sensory bin as well.
I love that this set comes with a lower case letter puzzle! My daughter does enjoy playing with it and it is helping teach her letters. My only complaint is that I don't like the way the little pieces go in the puzzle. For example, the tiny triangle from the letter "A".
Such a fun set in easily distinguishable colors. High quality that I think will last for a long time.
